A flock of geese leave their lake and take wing, turning to poems in the sky. August always seems to come suddenly! There you are, enjoying the summer when suddenly you notice that the days are getting a little shorter and birds are on the move again. Returning to Wildwood we are still seeing Herons and Kingbirds, Swallows and Kingfishers. But nearby at Harrington, the shorebirds have been arriving along with Great Egrets.

Sunday, June 24, 2012. For the past month we have been going crazy traveling. I feel like we have lived in the trailer and out of suitcases since summer began. It all started with Memorial.
